Overview

The Appropriate and Value-Based Care (AVBC) Conference 2025 marks a significant milestone in Singapore's national efforts to embed value-based care across healthcare policy and practice.

Centred on the theme Maximising Value for All, the conference will spotlight how AVBC is being implemented across our health system—from policy and financing to clinical practice and patient engagement.

Participants will hear from international experts and local leaders on strategies that improve outcomes, optimise resources, and put patient needs at the centre of care. Through plenaries, workshops, and panels, the conference aims to catalyse system-wide dialogue and collaboration for the next phase of Singapore's healthcare transformation.

Closed: AVBC Conference 2025 Abstract Submissions

Staff from Singapore’s public healthcare and academic institutions are invited to submit entries for the AVBC Conference 2025 Abstract Competition, centred on the overarching theme:

"Embracing Appropriate and Value-Based Care (AVBC) to Improve Patient Outcomes."

The competition features two categories. Shortlisted entries will be featured in oral and poster presentations at the conference, with awards presented to the top submissions.

Pre-Conference Workshops

Start your AVBC Conference experience with a deeper dive into two practical, hands-on workshops. Participants can choose between:

  • A session on clinical guideline development using the ACE Clinical Guidance (ACG) methodology, or
  • An overview of ACE’s approach to Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and Horizon Scanning for medical technologies.

Designed for healthcare professionals and implementers, these sessions will equip participants with practical tools to support the adoption of appropriate and value-based care.
